Healthy Chicken Carbonara


oz cooked whole-wheat spaghetti

slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces

 medium garlic clove minced
1 egg  and 1 egg white 
12  cup  parmesan cheese
12  tsp salt
14  black pepper
Top with chopped basil leaves to taste.
Serves 4; Prep Time 15 minutes
  • Cook spaghetti as directed drain and keep warm.

  • Meanwhile cook bacon in large skillet over medium heat until crisp

  • Add garlic and cook stirring constantly until fragrant about 30 seconds

  • Whisk egg and egg white in a small bowl

  • Add spaghetti to skillet, remove from heat add eggs, parmesean cheese and salt and pepper toss to coat.
